Design Lead
Job Specific Duties Responsibilities
- Take the lead in creating and executing design concepts, setting the standard for creative excellence across projects
- Establish and maintain brand guidelines and design standards to ensure cohesive visual identity across all touchpoints
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand project goals and deliver solutions that meet business objectives
- Oversee design projects from initial concept to final delivery, ensuring quality and consistency
- Manage timelines, allocate resources, and track project progress to meet deadlines and budgets
- Conduct regular design reviews, providing constructive feedback and ensuring alignment with project goals
- Mentor and guide junior designers, helping them grow their skills and advance in their careers
- Foster a collaborative environment that encourages creativity, innovation, and open communication
- Prioritize user-centered design principles, ensuring that all solutions meet user needs and provide a seamless experience
- Keep up with design trends, tools, and best practices, bringing new ideas and approaches to the team
- Lead usability testing and gather user feedback to iterate and improve designs
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree / Masters in a design-related discipline, ideally Graphic Design and/or Branding.
- Minimum of 5 years managing a team to achieve results through creative performance
- Experience in through-the-line creative development, localization, execution and production
- Experience thinking strategically, and working outside the box on issues.
- Experience developing and defining design strategy
- Deep knowledge of brand design, depth of expertise in graphic and industrial design
- Strong portfolio showcasing your leadership and design creativity
- Ability to deliver strong results in a high pressure, deadline-driven environment.
- Ability to respond to marketing challenges on time and within budget
- Strong problem solving abilities and solutions oriented approach.
- Excellent communications and interpersonal skills to coach and challenge the creative team and work collaboratively with business stakeholders
- Advanced level proficiency of: Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft Office
