Retail Marketing Specialist
Job Specific Duties Responsibilities
- Building stronger relationships with Client’s Retailers.
- Managing the exclusive discounts/offers/deals that the retailers offer to the client’s Community.
- Onboarding retailers to participate at the events/activations.
- Requesting discounted quotations from the retailers for gifts.
- Receiving contents from the retailers to be featured on the client’s Screens and ensuring that they are approved before allocating the complimentary annual slots.
- Facilitating the execution of retailers ‘events.
- Coordinating between other departments to ensure that the retailers are passing through the necessary routes to execute their events (permits, logistics, security…)
- Collecting retailers’ information and updating the POIs file for the Client’s Mobile App Updates.
- Informing the Marketing Team about the latest Retail Leasing status (for example: black-listed retailers, closed retailers, opening soon…)
- Coordinating between the Social Media team and the retailers to shoot content when needed.
- Collecting Social Media Content from the retailers to be used on relevant platforms.
- Receiving feedback from the Retail Leasing Team on which retailers require extra visibility on Social Media and more support during events.
- Managing the execution of the Retail Majlis which happen every 3-4 months (preparing the emailer/registration forms, inviting the retailers by emails, following up with them via phone calls/SMS, booking the venue, requesting the catering service, collecting post-majlis survey)
- Coordinating with relevant printing house for the necessary jobs (asking for quotations, shopfronts branding, stickers removals…)
- Sending promotional and occasional emailers to Customer Service to be shared with the Client’s Residents and to the hotels to be shared with their guests.
Qualifications
- Degree in Business Marketing.
- 5-7 years of experience managing a similar role in a similar type of business.
- Strong retail background.
- Up to date on the current marketing/digital trends
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Proficient in English and Arabic
- Excellent in Time Management
- Good negotiation skills (especially when contacting retailers for paid events
- Proficient in Microsoft Office.
- Understands the needs of the local market and culture.
